Make Money with TipJoy, A Micro Payment Service and a Tip Jar

TipJoy is a micropayment service. It's like Paypal. You can use it to "Receive Money" or "Accept Payment" and "Donate or Give Money". You can also set an automatic payment like "subscription" in Paypal.

You can use TipJoy if you sell digital contents, smaller items or if you have a cause that you want to help raise money.

Paypal charges 2.9% plus $0.30 for every transaction while TipJoy only gets a 3% commission. TipJoy does payment aggregation. All payments are group together and divided across a much larger amount of money so each merchant's individual fees get much smaller. Therefore, you can keep more money from your transaction.

The neatest thing with TipJoy is that you can receive or send money using Twitter! Yes. All you have to do is write 'p $5 @janestutheit for cool and helpful contents' and this will send money to @janestutheit account.

Anything with @username, dollar amount, and a payment keyword which is "p", in this case, in the first three words in any order will work. Other payment keywords like "give, tip, pay, rtip" can also be used.

Twitter is the number one social network. Finally, they're talking about money. Even before they come up with a business model, experienced marketers have been using Twitter as one of their primary marketing tools. A number of entrepreneurs already made a fortune on Twitter!

Big companies should study the strategies of small business owners. They're missing a lot of money if they're not on Twitter. But simply having a Twitter account is not enough. You need to tap the real potential and learn the strategies.

One book I would recommend is Twitter Power: How to Dominate Your Market One Tweet at a Time by Joel Comm.

By the way, Abby and Ivan Kirigin are the Founders of TipJoy.

So do you like our content? Give to TipJoy. Keep cool Internet tools coming!

What is Twitpic?

Twitpic is a website where you can upload photos that you can share on Twitter.

At Twitter, you can only post 140 characters including the tiny url. The tiny url is the shortened link of the website you included.

Twitpic is easy to use. If you have a Twitter account, you don't have to sign up. You can just login. When you're in, click the Upload tab to upload your photos.

Like all photo storage websites, there are terms you need to abide. It's important to observe the copyright laws. Repeat offenders will be banned from Twitpic.

It's a cool tool!

What is Twellow?

Twellow is an online service. It is the Yellow Page of Twitter users. It's a directory of Tweeters. At Twitter, you can only find people. You can search for companies but they are not categorized.

Twellow breaks this clutter and organize Twitters in categories. They're organized from A to Z of different niches. This is especially essential to Marketers like me.

If you're looking for Tweeters who are interested in traveling to Hawaii just go to Travel category.

If you wish to follow the Tweeples close in your geographical location, use the Twellowhood. It's the Twitter neighborhood.

Follow me on Twitter.

Transfer, Store Big Files and Access them Anywhere

Managing your files is an essential part of your personal and business life. What's in your computer is a big extension of you and your business. You probably have all your family pictures and video stored in your drive. Or probably you have all the important files and contents you needed for work or your business.

What if there's fire? What if your pc got stolen? You'll probably freak out!

You'll never know how important it is to backup your files, transfer and access them anywhere 'til you experience the need.

When we went overseas for vacation, I wished I could access my files from my computer from home. It was so inconvenient. I failed to do the work that I needed to do because I can't access my files. In short, I had to wait 'til we get home. I've wasted time. I could've done work and pleasure at the same time!

I had a big problem too when I was selling my eBook. I had problem transferring because the file was big.

Then I found Box.net. It's an online file storage platform that enables users to share access and store important files online anytime, anywhere. It is safe.

Users can access or share their files from any computer or mobile device (no software required), so any files stored on the service can be retrieved or shared anywhere. Box.net currently has over 1.5 million registered users.

There's another service called Mozy. It's a little cheaper. About $4.95 a month. Consumers may choose Mozy Free or Mozy Unlimited. Mozy Free offers 2 GB of automatic, secure online backup for free. Mozy Unlimited offers unlimited, secure, reliable online backup for $4.95 a month. Both services allow consumers to perform an unlimited number of restores via the web or Windows Explorer. Get Mozy Now!

That's what I call convenience and mobile business.

Financial Destination, Inc. or FDI

I wrote a review on Financial Destination, Inc. or FDI business in our community, Association of Trusted Online Businesses.

One of our members, Ernest Parker had a Business Presentation about FDI. Business presentation is a great opportunity for Entrepreneurs to educate people and soon-to-be customers or business partners about the business.

There are reviews about FDI on the Internet but there is nothing like getting a solid information from the business owner, affiliate or representative who can answer live during our "Chat Night."

You'll be able to answer all your questions about FDI on my honest and unbiased review at Association of Trusted Online Businesses.
